Psalm 8:2
"You have taught children and nursing infants to give you praise. They silence your enemies who were seeking revenge."
The first part of this verse struck me the other day. Even as a little child Malachi gives God glory. By his smile and gurgling laughs, his round cheeks, his long lashes, his sweet smell, his delicate fingers and toes, his energetic legs, the weight of his precious body resting on mine, through his intricate blue eyes he proclaims God's Kingdom. Through the details of God's creation we grow closer to our King and we see His glory. I am so thankful I get to be Malachi's mother and discover, in awe, all that God has planted into this one child (and to think there are millions on earth! Each uniquely singing His praises through their beauty and innocence.) What a gift to watch him grow, explore the world, and discover our Savior!
