Blossoms

Malachi and I love walking outside.  Having the trees in bloom has been an added bonus!  It has been so much fun showing him spring and listening for the hum of the bees pollenating the buds.  Daddy brought Malachi along with him while he worked on scouting orchards.  He showed him the ropes and the view was spectacular!  We were on a bluff over looking Suttons Bay surrounded by white trees in bloom and the setting sun.  Oh yeah, this is why we live here.  I was starting to wonder this winter. ;0)

Mother's Day

For Mother's day the boys agreed to do a family photo shoot with me. :)  Mother's day turned out to be crummy weather, so we took them a few days later.  Our over 100 year old barn and cherry orchards were the perfect spot for the pictures. I have always loved the cherry blossoms, but each year I live up here, I learn to appreciate them more and more.  They symbolize so much to our family.  They are our livelihood, heritage, history, a sign of life, warmer weather and give me a sense of peace.  a perfect setting to capture our quickly growing boy and our quickly growing love.  Thank you Auntie Em for taking these for us!
